Beginning April 1, the Basswood Road and Woodland Drive Compost Site will have new operating hours.
The Basswood Road Compost Site will be open Monday-Friday, 7am – 6pm and Saturdays from 8am until 6pm.
The Woodland Drive Compost Site will be open Monday-Friday, 10am – 6pm and Saturdays from 8am until 6pm.
Due to the COVID-19 issue and in line with CDC and State of Wisconsin Department of Health Services guidelines to limit community-spread of the virus, the Manitowoc County Recycling Center is suspending the electronics recycling program, compost sales, and similar services to residents and businesses until further notice. The main office will be closed to everyone except commercial and municipal haulers until direction is given that it is safe to re-open.
Please note: The self-serve drive-up residential recycling drop-off site at the Recycling Center will remain open at this time. Businesses that self-haul recyclables may call 920-683-4333 to schedule drop offs.
Please maintain proper social distancing while using the Compost Sites and Recycling Depot. Both Compost Sites and the Main Office are closed on Sundays and holidays.
