The Manitowoc County Historical Society is dedicated to preserving and sharing local history during these extraordinary days. The museum will be offering free educational content for children, adults, and families on the museum’s website at ManitowocCountyHistory.org and virtual tours and lessons on its social media platforms. Guests do not need to be registered for a social media platform to view the materials presented.
The Manitowoc County Historical Society has canceled its SPARK! program, originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 8. SPARK! is a free monthly program for individuals living with early-to-mid stage memory loss, their care partners, and family members. Participants are engaged in lively conversations, exhibit exploration, historic artifacts, and multi-sensory activities.
The Historical Society will continue to monitor the status of future programs.
History teaches us to consider our actions during times like these as a representation of our values. At the Manitowoc County Historical Society, we, like you, are hoping and working to do just that as we share our treasured local history with the community.
