While everyone has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, it can be argued that those hit the hardest are those who are in assisted living homes.
Not only are they the most susceptible to contracting the virus, due to this fact, they cannot receive visitors, or go out into the community.
As a way to help cheer up thier residents, Shady Lane in Manitowoc has decided to create a Resident Wish List on Amazon.com, where people can order certain items that the residents would like.
These items include everything from sweets and snacks, to bird feeders and art items.
Shady Lane has already received several items from the list and went to Facebook to thank the community for their generous donations.
