Officials in Milwaukee are considering the reopening of a former convent if it’s needed as an emergency shelter for coronavirus patients. Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett says the city is work on an agreement to use Clare Hall as a place to house the homeless population and others who are at risk of developing COVID-19. The Wisconsin National Guard would operate the shelter. Barrett says there is room there for up to 90 people.
