Without a doubt the Lakeshore Community is a great place to live and work especially when times get tough.
A fine example is the Parker Hannifin Corporation funding a campaign to help local small businesses by providing marketing.
Parker Hannifin Plant Manager Kyle Schleucher told SeehaferNews.com, “One of the things we are trying to do is not only keeping our employees healthy and safe at work; we are working on how we can have a better presence in the community. So we came up with the idea to sponsor and put some advertisement out for people as we try to get through this time and eventually start to get out more and to help the local small businesses that are impacted more than anyone else.”
Parker Hannifin manufactures hydraulic hose fittings for most of the infrastructure across the world. Their facilities remain open as these parts are essential components to keep the world running.
Schleucher says helping local business is the right thing to do.
“Our location has been in the community for many, many years,” he said. “We want to continue to be a place that people know, a place that people want to work with and a place that people want to work for, but also a place that people recognize as supporting our employees, their families and also our community.”
This campaign started by Parker Hannifin to support local business is just one way to help the Lakeshore community.
He explained, “I think it’s helpful for all of us to know that there is safety in what we can do together and I am extremely proud of the team that we have at Parker and the way that we can get involved to support our community.”
The Parker Hannifin Corporation has over 300 employees working in the Manitowoc area.
