Another resident of the Sunny Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation facility has died from complications related to COVID-19.
Both residents were over the age of 60 when the passed away.
In response to the multiple cases that cropped up in the assisted living facility, the Wisconsin National Guard has dispatched a team to the home, to establish a mobile testing site and perform COVID-19 specimen collection.
It should be noted that all of the Guardsmen and women that were sent to the home are in the medical field.
The total number of confirmed cases in Sheboygan County rose to 22 over the weekend, with 11 cases remaining active, 9 people have recovered, and one more remains hospitalized.
