The Covid-19 virus has infiltrated the Green Bay Police Department.
The positive test was confirmed by the department over the weekend.
According to reports from the GBPD, the officer in question has not been at work since March 29th and is recovering at home.
The Department is currently investigating who the officer may have been in contact with, in order to determine if anyone else is at risk for contracting the virus.
The GBPD is working closely with Emergency Operations Center and local health departments in the investigation.
