Members of the Wisconsin Assembly have given a broad-based coronavirus relief bill overwhelming approval during a virtual session.
Tuesday’s vote was 97-to-2, with about two-thirds of the lawmakers participating by videoconference, while a few sat in the Assembly chamber separated by at least six feet.
The Senate is meeting today (Wednesday) and passage would forward the legislation to Governor Tony Evers.
