Brown County Health Officials are reporting that a second person has died after contracting COVID-19.
Details about the individual have not been released. This news comes along side the new number of confirmed cases, which rose by 20 to 317.
The reason for the massive jump is due to an outbreak at the JBS Beef Plant in Green Bay, which has also caused a chain reaction of other meat packing plants to close across the country.
Experts are worried this trend will cause a shortage of meat, as production is already down 20% from last year, and demand is up, as more people are staying home.
