8 Workers Test Positive For COVID at Richelieu Foods Beaver Dam Facility

Richelieu Foods is closing its Beaver Dam facility for the rest of the week after eight employees tested positive for coronavirus.  The food-labeling company plans to test all 420 workers with assistance from the Wisconsin National Guard.  C-E-O Ric Alvarez said, “the health and safety of our employees, their families, and our customers has always been our top priority.”  Richelieu is cleaning and sanitizing the plant and will require hand washing and encourage social distancing.  Alvarez says they will protect the employees in accordance with C-D-C recommendations and Dodge County Health Department guidance.
