Manitowoc Lutheran runners competed Saturday in the Big East Conference Cross Country meet at Sheboygan Lutheran. The Lancers boys finished 2nd just 3 points behind the meet champion, and had 4 all conference athletes in Nolan Winter 4th, Josh Zander 8th, Grant Schroeder 11th, and Jacob Schultz 15th. The Lutheran Girls team took 6th in it’s division, and was led by Lydia Hecker, who was 31st overall. Coach Abbey Bubolz said Manitowoc Lutheran and Lincoln will co-host the WIAA Division 3 and 1 Sectional meet at Meadow Links this Saturday, with the first race beginning at 10:30 AM.
