Update: Manitowoc County has extended the Safer at Home restrictions through May 20th.
Several cities and counties in Northeast Wisconsin have extended “Safer at Home” Orders after the State Supreme Court struck down Governor Evers’ Statewide Extension of his Order yesterday. “Safer at Home” was set to expire May 26th at 8 a.m.
Brown and Winnebago Counties along with De Pere and Appleton extend until next Wednesday, May 20th. The Menominee Indian Tribe has extended until May 25th. Menasha and Outagamie County are extended until further notice while Shawano and Menominee Counties are awaiting guidance from the state. Fond Du Lac County’s Businesses can open immediately.
Manitowoc County Emergency Management Director Travis Waack says that recommendations from the Health Department will be released later today.
