The Green Bay Packers will start practicing today (Wednesday) for their Sunday home contest against New Orleans. The big focus will be on quarterback Brett Hundley, the second stringer who starts for the injured Aaron Rodgers. Joe Callahan is the backup, and the Packers signed rookie Q-B Jerod (juh rod’) Evans from Virginia Tech to their practice squad on Tuesday. The health of the offensive line is also a concern as starters Lane Taylor, David Bahktiari, and Bryan Bulaga try to bounce back from new or renewed injuries from last Sunday’s loss at Minnesota. On defense, coordinator Dom Capers says he’ll work on fixing missed tackles and mental errors from Sunday — and he, too, works around major injuries as corners Kevin King and Davon House and safety Morgan Burnett didn’t even play last week and corner Quinten Rollins went on injured reserve.
