The number of COVID-19 cases in Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties continues to rise.
In Manitowoc County, six more cases were reported yesterday, however 3 more patients have fully recovered. This leaves 31 active cases out of the 56 total cases, and 24 recoveries.
163 negative tests came back as well, for a total of 4,710.
It should be noted that in the Manitowoc County Health Department’s breakdown, the percentage of cases in the 54220 zip code has been steadily declining. When they first began including the pie graph, 54220 accounted for around 2/3rds of all cases, and now it accounts for just over half.
Meanwhile in Sheboygan County, three more cases were reported yesterday, bringing their total up to 174. Two more people fully recovered, leaving 123 recoveries, and 47 active cases.
Testing is happening at a high rate in the county, as 272 negative tests came back as well. This leaves the county with 6,672 total negative test results.
