The number of new COVID-19 continues to rise in both Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties, albeit at different rates.
In Manitowoc County, four more cases were reported yesterday, brining that total up to 104. For the first time in a little over a week, one more person has fully recovered, leaving a total of 67 active cases and 36 recoveries. 35 tests returned a negative result as well, with that total now at 6,372.
Roughly half of all cases in the county are found in people age 18 to 35, and roughly 2/3rd of all cases are found in the 54220 zip code.
Meanwhile in Sheboygan County, it looked like the number of cases were starting to level off, until another spike was reported yesterday. 14 more cases were reported, leaving a total of 224. 30 cases remain active as three more people recovered. 157 negative test results were reported as well, brining that total up to 10,268.
