For the third week in a row, Wisconsin’s Jonathan Taylor has been named the Big Ten freshman of the week. Taylor ran for 126 yards and one touchdown in the Badgers’ home victory against Maryland — and he tied an F-B-S freshman record by surpassing one-thousand career rushing yards in his first seven games. He joined an exclusive group that includes Adrian Peterson, Marshall Faulk, and Emmitt Smith. Fifth ranked Wisconsin is 7-0 for the first time since 2004, and the Badgers play at Illinois Saturday.
