The trend of younger people contracting COVID-19 at a higher rate than older people continues, at least in Manitowoc County.
According to the latest COVID-19 update from the County Health Department, roughly 75 cases are contributed to people aged 26-35 years old, with 18-25-year-old people and the two age groups comprising 46-65-year-old patients each accounting for around 50.
Less than 30 cases are attributed to people over the age of 66.
7 more cases were reported yesterday in Manitowoc County, along with two more recoveries and 274 negative tests. This leaves the pandemic long totals at 317 positive tests, 201 active cases, and 10,138 negative tests.
In Sheboygan County, 2 more cases were confirmed, 31 more recoveries, and 566 more negative tests results. A total of 715 cases have been reported throughout the pandemic, 171 of which remain active, and 21,266 tests have come back negative.
