While the number of new COVID-19 cases in Manitowoc county was low yesterday, the number of tests was also very low.
One third of the tests reported yesterday came back positive, as four new cases and 8 negative tests were included in the County Health Department report. Three more people were also listed as recovered, leaving a pandemic total of 349 positive and 10,679 negative tests, and 199 active cases.
In Sheboygan County, 45 new cases were confirmed but it should be noted that it includes new cases from the weekend and Monday. The pandemic totals for Sheboygan County sit at 804 total cases, 145 of which remain active, and 22,561 negative test results, along with 8 deaths.
