The Wisconsin native who started the national anthem protests by N-F-L players will reportedly get one-million dollars to write about it. The New York Post says Colin Kaepernick has signed a book deal with the Random House imprint “One World.” The quarterback has been looking for work since he left the San Francisco 49ers at the end of last season — and neither he nor the publisher have confirmed a book deal. Kaepernick was born in Milwaukee, and he still has family in the New London area. In August of last year, he became the first to kneel during the national anthem of a preseason game — and others followed suit for different causes, fueled after President Donald Trump called the players disrespectful and blamed them for the N-F-L’s overall drop in attendance and T-V ratings.
