There is a bit of good news and a bit of bad news from Manitowoc County in relation to COVID-19.
First the positive, as for the first time since the start of the pandemic, the number of people who have recovered from the virus outweighs the number of people who are still battling it. As of yesterday’s report from the Manitowoc County Health Department, 246 people have recovered, and 218 cases are still active. That is a jump of 21 recoveries.
Now the not so good, as 11 new cases were reported, the first double digit jump since August 13th. That teamed with only 4 negative tests results, leaves the pandemic totals at 464 positive, and 11,784 negative test results.
In Sheboygan County, the Division of Public Health reported 28 new cases, 16 recoveries, and 561 negative tests. This leaves the pandemic totals at 962 cases, 96 of which are active, and 26,226 negative tests.
