Runners from Roncalli and Manitowoc Lutheran competed in the Crusader Challenge hosted yesterday by Sheboygan Lutheran High School.
On the girls side of things, the Lancers, who finished 2nd as a team, were led by Brooklyn Luebke, who was the top finisher with a time of 20:13. The next fastest runner for Lutheran was Paige Zirbel, who finished 35th.
Roncalli came in 5th place, with Jena Garceau pacing the Jets runners with a 29th place finish.
For the guys, Lutheran earned third place, while Roncalli came in 5th.
The Jets were led by Brayden Yanda, who finished 6th with a time of 17:50, and Ryan Jacoby who came in 20th.
The two fastest Lancer runners were Spencer Streich and Shawn Egerer who finished 16th and 17th respectively.
The next race for the Lancers won’t be until September 24th at Mishicot.
