Another individual has died in Manitowoc County in connection to COVID-19. Personal information of this latest fatality will not be formally released by the County Health Department.
Also in yesterday’s report were 36 new cases, one new recovery, and 18 negative test results. This brings the pandemic totals up to 1,184 cases, 666 cases remaining active, and 14,340 negative test results.
Also of note, the age group that is most affected is now those between the ages of 46 and 55, This is a change from what was the case throughout the majority of the pandemic, as the 26 to 35 year old age group accounted for the highest number of cases.
In Sheboygan County, 113 new cases were reported by the Division of Public Health yesterday. They also reported 39 recoveries, and 267 negative test results. They have also started reported how many cases are within the walls of the Kettle Moraine Correctional Institution, and as of yesterday they account for 204 cases. The pandemic totals now sit at 1,799 cases, 191 of them remaining active, and 37,155 negative test results.
