The Wisconsin Herd’s home arena is not ready yet, so the developmental “G” League team from Oshkosh will play its first three home games in Milwaukee. The Herd will play its inaugural home contest November 17th at the BMO Harris Bradley Center against the Windy City Bulls. Wisconsin will also play its second and third home games there — but Herd president Steve Brandes says the building will not be open to fans for those contests because of the costs of opening it up. The Herd’s first Oshkosh game is now set for December first against Iowa, after the finishing touches are put on new Menominee Nation Arena.
