The Manitowoc County Health Department reported their second highest number of new COVID-19 cases yesterday.
73 cases were included in their daily report, which is 11 cases fewer than the record, which was set on Sunday.
That combined with only 11 recoveries and 64 negative tests leaves the pandemic totals in Manitowoc County at 1,861 cases, 1,154 remaining active, 702 recoveries, and 16,280 negative tests.
Meanwhile in Sheboygan County, 86 new cases were reported yesterday by the Division of Public Health.
For the second day in a row no new cases were reported in the Kettle Moraine Correctional Institution, leaving them at a total of 632 cases.
Also, 36 more people recovered, and 443 tests came back negative. This leaves a pandemic total of 2,982 cases, 505 of which remain active, 1,825 recoveries, and 44,088 negative tests.
