A stinging defense and a fourth quarter offensive charge give the Charlotte Hornets a 126-121 home victory against Milwaukee Wednesday night. The game was tied going into the fourth quarter when Hornets’ rookie Malik Monk scored 16 of Charlotte’s first 18 points in the period. Monk had 25 for the night and Kemba Walker scored 26 to help give the Hornets their third straight win. Giannis Antetokounmpo, the N-B-A’s leading scorer going in, had a season low 14 points with 13 rebounds — and Khris Middleton scored 43 to lead the Bucks. They’re back to .500 at 4-4 after losing two straight games, including Wednesday night’s start of a four game road trip that continues tomorrow (Friday) night at Detroit.
