The National Weather Service of Green Bay has issued a Lakeshore Hazard Message for Saturday, October 17, 2020.
The Lakeshore flood advisory will be in effect from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Door, Kewaunee, and Manitowoc Counties are expected to experience minor lakeshore erosion with flooding on low lying roads and property.
Strong southerly winds will create significant wave action against the Lake Michigan Shorelines, which can lead to erosion. This threat subsides as winds turn southwesterly late Saturday evening.
As a precaution, residents on or near the shore should take appropriate action to protect their property from rising water levels.
