Another death has been linked to COVID-19 in Manitowoc County.
That brings the total up to 8. Also 89 new positive cases were confirmed yesterday, along with 22 recoveries, and 94 negative tests. The pandemic totals now sit at 2,347 cases, 1,446 of which remain active, 893 recoveries, and 18,366 negative test results.
The positive return rate in Manitowoc County is now up to 11.3%, which is nearly double what it was one month ago, when it was 6.15%.
Also, the 46-55-year-old age group continues to b e the most effected in the County, accounting for roughly 400 cases. They are followed by the 56-65-year-old age group, who has just shy of 400 cases, and the 26-35-year-old age group, who account for approximately 350 cases.
Meanwhile in Sheboygan County, an additional 156 cases were reported by the Division of Public Health, with 23 of them coming out of the Kettle Moraine Correctional Institution. 844 of the 3,995 cases reported throughout the pandemic have come from the KMCI.
Also, 20 recoveries were added along with 28,279 negative tests. A total of 2,125 people have been listed as recovered, leaving 1,003 active cases, and 28,279 negative tests.
