We have some more positive new to report from the Manitowoc County Health Department.
For the second time in a week, the number of people who recovered from COVID-19 yesterday outweighed the number of new cases. 43 new cases were added, while 63 patients were added into the recovered column.
That, paired with the 65 additional negative tests, leaves the pandemic totals at 3,101 cases, 1,684 of which remain active, 1,401 recoveries, 19,972 negative tests and 16 deaths linked to the virus.
Meanwhile in Sheboygan County, it is a different story.
Two more people have died due to COVID-19 and according to reports, both of these people were in their 60s.
Also, a whopping 351 new cases were added over the weekend, while 163 people were added to the list of recoveries.
This brings the pandemic totals up to 5,361 cases, 1,855 of which remain active, 2,617 recoveries, 30,715 negative test results, and 31 deaths linked to the virus.
