Michael J. Meisner, age 55, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center following complications from pneumonia.
Mike was born on October 12, 1965 in Manitowoc to Jack and Sandra (Marks) Meisner. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1984. Mike then moved to Florida where he learned his trade as a skilled carpenter. After 20 years, he then returned to Manitowoc where he continued his profession. Mike enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include Mike’s parents, Jack and Sandra Meisner, Manitowoc; two siblings, Mark (Laura Apfelbeck) Meisner, Manitowoc; and Kathleen Meisner, Oconomowoc; three nieces, Talise, Sophia, and Milana; two nephews, Sam Altman and Jakob Alsteen; special friend, Michele Meisner, Crystal River, FL; also other relatives and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, George Meisner and Esther Zelle; and maternal grandparents, Clinton and Emma Marks.
Private family graveside services will be led by Rev. Thomas Pankow at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
