It was another day with a relatively high number of COVID-19 cases in Manitowoc County.
103 new cases were reported by the Manitowoc County Health Department, along with 26 recoveries, and 149 negative tests. The pandemic totals now sit at 3,777 confirmed cases, 1,972 of which remain active, 1,784 recoveries, and 21,292 negative tests.
One more person was admitted to a hospital in the Northeast Region, which raises the percentage of beds in use to 87%.
No new deaths were reported, leaving that total at 21.
Meanwhile, in Sheboygan County, a staggering 286 new cases were confirmed in yesterday’s report by the Division of Public Health. That brings their total up to 6,622 cases since the start of the pandemic.
122 recoveries were also reported, along with 160 negative tests, which leaves 2,243 active cases, 4,338 recoveries, and 32,792 negative tests.
It should also be noted that the death toll dropped by one down to 41 after one of the deceased individuals was determined to be residing in a different county.
