University of Wisconsin System President Tommy Thompson has announced an extension of community COVID-19 surge (rapid) testing sites, hosted at UW System campuses.
At the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, the free, rapid testing site will return to the Weidner Center location beginning, Wednesday, January 27th, and will be open to the public weekdays from 9:00 to 4:00 PM. Anyone five years of age and older can be tested.
The testing site has been popular, with 350-400 tests administered each day. At the Weidner Center site (2450 Weidner Center Drive) 15,923 total antigen tests and 749 PCR tests (16,672 total) were distributed since mid-November.
