New cases are down, hospitalizations are down, and recoveries are up. Things are looking good in Manitowoc County.
In the Health Department update yesterday (February 17th) only 7 new cases were reported, while 25 people were transferred to the recovered column. This leaves the pandemic totals at 7,169 confirmed cases, and 6,677 recoveries, while 431 cases remain active.
There were no new deaths, leaving that total at 61, while the number of people hospitalized for COVID fell by one to 32.
Meanwhile, in Sheboygan County, the numbers were actually pretty even.
22 new cases were confirmed, while 27 people were listed as recovered, leaving a total of 12,720 cases, and 12,416 recoveries, and leaves 179 cases active.
They also didn’t have any new deaths reported, leaving that number stagnant at 125.
