The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reports the number of COVID-19 cases of the UK variant has more than tripled in the last week.
There were six confirmed cases on February 25th and that number had reached 19 Thursday, according to DHS Deputy Secretary Julie Willems Van Dijk.
Doctors say the U-K variant can spread more rapidly than the regular strain of the virus.
Willems Van Dijk says everyone in Wisconsin will be eligible to get vaccinated by the end of May.
