The Wisconsin football team is losing another player through the transfer portal.
Safety Reggie Pearson Junior has announced he’s moving on to South Dakota after he didn’t play last season because he wasn’t medically cleared by the team’s physicians.
He had started all 14 games in the 2019 season.
Pearson released a statement last month saying he had been medically cleared by two different medical professionals outside of the university but had been ruled exempt from football by the Badgers program.
The former three-star recruit chose Wisconsin over scholarship offers from Arkansas, Iowa State, and several other schools.
