Marquette basketball coach Shaka Smart is filling his Golden Eagles roster with some solid players.
There had been indications that David Joplin of Brookfield Central would be joining Smart at Marquette.
Joplin was released from his commitment to Texas and followed Smart from Austin To Milwaukee.
The six-foot-seven Joplin made the announcement Wednesday morning (April 14th).
Smart also added transfer guard Tyler Kolek from George Mason.
Kolek was Atlantic 10 Conference freshman of the year after averaging almost 11 points-a-game and hitting 36-percent of his 3-pointers.
He entered the transfer portal after George Mason fired coach Dave Paulsen.
Kolek will have four seasons of eligibility left.
