Five Wisconsin Rapids men are expected to be charged with attempted first-degree homicide for a targeted shooting in Sun Prairie last September.
Police have referred the charges to the Dane County District Attorney’s Office.
24-year-old Jerrod Worzella will be charged with attempted first-degree intentional homicide and felon in possession of a firearm.
37-year-old Brandon Hermanson, 36-year-old Curtis Gadke, 29-year-old Luke Harmon, and 23-year-old Riley Esselman would be charged with party to the crime of attempted first-degree homicide.
All five were already in custody for an unrelated crime.
The teenaged victim suffered a wound to his hand and an eye injury.
