An executive order from Wisconsin’s governor directs all state-managed law enforcement agencies to review and update their use of force policies.
Governor Tony Evers signed Executive Order 111 Wednesday, saying Wisconsin residents are “demanding action and meaningful, systemic change.”
The executive order was issued one day after a Minnesota jury found former police officer Derek Chauvin guilty of two murder counts and one manslaughter count in the death of George Floyd.
